The main theme of GIS-IDEAS this year is "Towards Sustainable and Creative Humanosphere". The Research Project IWRM-Vietnam is well prepared for this topic. We will present methodologies addressing the challenge of improving the management of water and land resources in the most sustainable way. At the conference we will present two papers: GIS-Applications for Integrated Water Resources Management using the Example of the Upper Dong Nai River Basin, Vietnam and: Use of OGC Compatible GIS for Monitoring and Planning as Part of Integrated Water Resource Management.
